Spring is coming and I’m looking forward to it. The Faerie Queen was the perfect little adventure to warm me up for the next Burgundy Hart book, which is now in progress! So what else is going on?
I am teaching from the end of April through early June at the local community college. This is something I’ve pondered for years, now, but have been a little nervous to try. However, I decided what the heck – I can do it! One is a month-long class about plotting and writing, and the other is more of a business-centered class about what goes into being an indie author. I truly hope what I have to share after all these years will be of use to participants.
Burgundy Hart number two is plotted out in its entirety, as well as some of three. Honestly, I’m really eager to write both books two and three back to back. Will I? I’m not entirely sure. I should savor the journey, right? What do you think?
Her next adventure definitely isn’t going to be as “easy” as the first. Now that she knows what she is, the stakes are a heck of a lot higher. And that’s what I’m most looking forward to writing about – not just the dangers of the supernatural world, but of those who ought to be (*spoiler alert?*) the “good guys.” Of course, the love triangle between Burgundy, Charlotte, and Jenna is still going to pose a dilemma for Burg. But that pales in comparison to the other things she’ll have to face. 😉
Well, speaking of spring, I better get back to work. There’s nothing like a fresh adventure to go with the sunny days that are on their way!
